Interesting Years ago when I was exploring the world of psychic phenomena, our instructors would emphasize the importance of “grounding” oneself during these periods. In one particularly difficult session, one of the instructors called a break and went to the restroom where he held his hands under running water for some time. When he returned, he explained that the running water solidified and strengthened his “grounding to the center of the earth”. Evidently, this cleared whatever psychic disturbance he had encountered earlier, for he was able to continue the lesson with alacrity.
