Oh, copper tape.
I like that idea. I've got a roll of copper tape. I was just going to form something from magnet wire but the tape would be much easier, always a good thing for a lazy guy. Errr make that an efficient researcher...
As I recall they were mechanically damping the things every couple of inches or something, maybe I could put stripes of RTV or foam tape across it.
Cargo cult culture here I come! Except this is likely worse because it's harder to assess the outcome.
