My 9844's are from the very early 70's and the cabinets are pretty beat up. I paid 800 bucks for the pair and have never regretted it, although switching to an Emilar horn and driver combo proved to be much smoother that the Altec 806/811 combo. I'd start at a real low price ($200) and dicker up from there. I wish I was in a position to buy them from you but I'm between jobs right now and the wife would $hit if another pair of these appeared on her doorstep.
