With regards to the "usual" 300B amp: there are probably more people driving big horns with McIntosh than anything else; big dark Khorns in the corners and Macs glowing blue in the bookcase, nice package. It's just that these guys settle down and listen and ain't obsessive like us goons here :-) I've half a mind to chuck the tube stuff myself and get some SS Macs, they're so pretty.
