I owned a pair of CV "E-horns" back in the late '80s. I found I liked it best running one rather than two with K-horns, that and we didn't have space in the room for two. They move a bunch of air, are rated 108dB 1W/1M, and really made the bottom octave come alive. We watched "Star Wars" one night (before HT caught on) using a pair of K-horns and E-horn setup and decided the sound was better than when we saw it in the theatre. The E-horn sounded best in my room lying against one wall and firing into a corner (about 16"-24" from the corner). I think the response drops like a rock below 30hz though.
Check the back plate against which the 189S woofer fires. One rattled badly and leaked air. If I kept them I was going to reinforce and seal them up good.
