Magnaplanars...They are planers, or electrostatic pannels. Power hungry very detailed, problems with low frequencies typical to to planars.
Right place and right time are extremly good. I was surprised and then blown away by my first exposier to Maggies especially with vocals. If you have never heard them or Matin Logan full pannels or Quads etc try and give them a listen.
High efficiency they are not. High Fidelity they are.
