I've heard some of his stuff briefly, in the warehouse. Hardly a good listening test.
If I were buying from scratch, I would seriously consider a pair of SH-50, or a bit cheaper, the SM-60M with subwoofers to be determined (not necessarily a DSL product, however). Even this 2nd, cheaper option is not cheap. Just (2) SM60M probably cost $4-5K.
Or the cheapest option of all: used pair of Yorkville Unity U15 (~ $700 delivered)...a poor man's Danley, if you will. But works for me.
