RE: Lii Silver 10 Reference Speakers

So do you have any experience with either the Lii speakers or the Decware amplifier? Your generalizations really aren't helpful.

I will state this the open baffle Decware Zen Master 15M speakers I auditioned had great dynamics dynamics, could play loud with slam and presence. Seemed to be a good rock and roller, but its strong suit was not midrange clarity on the level of the Lii Crystal 10 or Silver 10 driver. This was while driven by a 2.3 watt SET. I listen to jazz, not exclusively, and prefer purity in sound and clarity. As such I am willing to sacrifice some slam and the ability to play at ear bleed volumes.

I don't know the stated efficiency of the Zen Master 15M, but I'd say it is in the 95dB/watt at 1 meter range. So this open baffle speaker is fairly efficient IME. High efficiency, well I guess that depends on one's definition.
