I'm a total neophyte where room/speaker measurements and REW are concerned, so bear with me.
I measured the summed R/L speakers, UMIK at my listening height and distance.
The 3 way active Sony crossover is set at 400hz/3.5khz crossover points, levels adjusted with measurements first, then tweaked by ear.
I measured the QPie/Sentry combo (orange line), then the Sentry's bass bin (red). The measurements confirm the superior bass performance from of Claude's Qpie design. If I'm interpreting this properly, there is much more output in the 50-500hz region. The Sentry bass bin is no slouch when listening to music, just lacks the texture and slam of the Qpies.
Overall I feel the FR looks pretty ragged but I don't feel like obsessing over measurements. Open to suggestions and comments though.
For the fun of it I'll try measuring the Sentry's fully stock with passive xover.
