I realise all those years I've been using my (K55V) drivers on EV SM120A horns without any gasket inbetween.
On my old Klipsch horns there was some red sealing gaskets between driver and k400 horns, wich i never thought of taking out and using on my new horns.
Since ordering a pair of new drivers from Bob Crites I've ordered a pair of sealing gaskets as well.
But are they always necessary? or is it the rough finish of the K400 horn that makes these gaskets mandatory? EV SM120A has a smooth flat metal piece where the driver comes and screw.
