I just purchased a patrician 800 that has some variations from the published data. The crossover is different and it has different drivers. The drivers all look original. In place of the 1824m "high frequency" driver, I have a T250. In place for the "low frequency" driver SP12, I have one labeled SP120. I have found references to the T250 in this speaker, but I've never seen or heard any mention of the SP120 anywhere.
Anyone have any knowledge of this variation or the SP120 driver? If there is any interest, I can post information about the crossover changes from the data sheet on Electro-voices' web site.
