I wonder if the current Eminence B102 vs a custom version was chosen perhaps as it could balance well without baffle step compensation - ? (that's an expensive tweeter he uses)note the in-room comparison below of the original B102 from some years back vs the current version, with each in a "Druid" sized narrow pipe
