With open baffles your lowest decent response is going to be the frequency where the wavelength is less than the shortest distance from the front of the cone to the back around the baffle.

Really, for proper bass to 20Hz response you'd need baffles extending 28'+ (8.53m) on all sides of the driver. A proper infinite baffle accomplishes this.
