Both systems have the same bottom cabinet, either 825 or 828 depending on the year. Older cabinets could be lighter because they used 5/8" ply for many years. Any of the cabinets benefit from extensive additional internal bracing.
The A5 uses a large format compression driver whish is a bit bigger nad heavier than the 1" drivers used in the A7 and A7-500 systems.
Also an A5 will typically have a multicell horn which is bigger and heavier than the 511 sectoral horn of an A7.
My A5s have tar-filled horns which are really heavy. I've also sand-filled the horn flares of the lower cabinets which added about 150 lbs to each cabinet. They don't get moved much.
