Bass was tight and well matched in level to the rest. These drivers have a full, satisfying sound and no need for a helper tweeter. I tried ribbons but found that they just wiped-out the full-range "goodness".
Im running them in a new system since last week. Technics SL-1200, Dynavector 4X5, Sony TC-766-2 R2R, Tandburg TCD 440A tape deck, Nad C-165BEE preamp into a Dynakit ST-35.
If I were told that this is the last system I could own there would be no complaints from me.
