Thanks for the recommmendation. I did do a search of Cogent, and if these are the ones you are referring to:

and if they sound as good as they look, then they would indeed be impressive. I would like to have the chance to hear them, although I am not sure when or where this might ever take place.
My interest in field coils is currently limited to this massive old 1945 Wurlitzer tone cabinet I am trying to get running as a guitar cabinet. In this function, it looks impressive with its solid wood construction, slightly Art Deco styling, and load of drivers with two 12" Jenson field coil, and two Magnavox 15" field coils.
