When I talked to John a couple of years back, he said that he hadn't found anything else that could keep up with his horns. He has them lo-passed at 50Hz for their role as subs and I believe he said that they extended down to 20Hz. I listened to the Exemplar/Karlsons for awhile and
was very impressed with the whole set-up.
BTW: John Tucker told me that this is the last show for the Exemplars, as he can't find anyone good enough or maybe willing enough to build the cabinets. Too bad, as they were (again!) one of the best speakers at VSAC.
