I am also thinking about another configuration:
MTM with 2 Fostex 206's (no whizzers) and an FE103E or something, in place of the ribbon tweeter. This will be on an OB, Eq'd and x-over at about 230 Hz.
FE 206' will be wired in series ( 16 ohm) and then in parralel to the FE103E, all fullrange 230Hz and up.
Dint't try your suggestion of toeing in the H-frames, though.
