hi, had a look at that link, and followed it up a bit. honestly math scares me, but ill pursue it more. from what i could gather the correct port kindof tunes the box, and eases the load on the woofers. that has to be good.
i had a look at those speakers. their construction is ideal, not for this unit though. i have other shells that use 6.5" woofers, in fact im going to recommend them to somebody who is working on that box.

im crap at math but i can draw! appearance is important to me so as a result im not a fan of coaxial speakers, they just dont look right to me. i really do think speakers are beautiful. i realise they would solve the crossover problem im going to encounter though.

what happens if i just seal the thing?
