High Efficiency Speaker Asylum

Been doing some research on 10s for a new project that I'm working on. Would like to use them as direct radiators from about 100-600 hertz.
Has anyone done direct comparsions between the following drivers:
JBL 2122
JBL 2123
JBL 2012
Eminence Delta 10
P.Audio SN-10MB
EV DL10X
B&C 10NPL64
I'm aware that the JBLs would probably be the best performers of the bunch, but the other drivers are easier and cheaper to purchase. Also, I've read a few things on the Altec forum suggesting the 2012 is the best performer of the lot of JBLs. And I think you can get E110 and other frames and have the 2122 soft parts installed in them.
Finding a proaudio 10s to work in this application is rather tough, seems like 12s are the perfered size of speaker for this application. I would give 12s more thought if I knew that I had the space for them.
Any suggestions and pointers would be appreciated.
