have you measured that 5181 cabinet? did Gauss set it for ~flat passband to ~50Hz half-space F3-F6? is that Jeff's old box? - one DJ company had a loaded pair at auction for ~$500 but I failed to get themwhat do you want to do with tuning and response? K15 with 2-3"ID right angle vents tunes ~28-30Hz giving ~7dB more at 32 then exemplar boosted it and used low fs Altec. Is that 18" Gauss woofer kinda like Altec for vas and fs?
love to see data or at least your impressions of what it does stock small and large signal. K's have ~no midrange gain so a K12 with efficient woofer might be "about" as loud at 80-100 as some K18 at 80-100
