I am using Altec 515E at the moment, but I would love to try the new "Altec" 515C from Great Plains. The beauty is, one can always resell the Altec drivers without a loss (or even a small profit !)
I have the Tatematu bass cabs. Mine were optimized for the 515. Tatematu San customizes all his products for individual clients.
I am triamping, using a Marchand active crossover. I am using your old TL12.1 for the midrange drivers (JBL 2450) on Tatematu wood horns.
The Leaks are doing very well. I actually changed all the resistors to Kiwame, the coupling caps to NOS TCC supermetalpak, and the cathode bypass caps to Solens. They do not have any electrolytic caps anymore. What are you using now ?
