Talked to Bill again.
He has sent me the drivers (Alnico 515. The first pair he produced !) and the recone kit.
Sounds like a really nice guy. He should definitely hire more people and build up his business. He should align himself with Sparkomatic and use the Altec name again on his products. This will make a BIG difference. Reissue Altec 515C. Imagine that. At $450 each, it is expensive, but still $200 less than the TAD 1601a, which is inferior in many respects.
