I still need to post my review, but the other day when I listened to Feastrex's all-Permendur field coil fullrange, a few different power supplies were tested, including one large and expensive selenium rectifier P/S. It wasn't as big as the one at that guy's site, but it was large. And it did not sound nearly as good as a much more conventional, more compact and less expensive P/S like the one you described. Not all modern technology is the enemy of good sound . . . :-)
