Tannoy Stirling vs JBL 4425 monitors need help!!

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

I just ran into a seller who owns these speakers and is motivated to sell me whichever set for $1000.00. The Tannoy's are a bit larger than the JBL's and the cabinets look to be furniture grade. The JBL's are in excellent shape as well and look and sound very impressive with their bi-radial horns. I have heard many great things about the prestige line but the 4425's appear to have a cult following as well. My musical taste is Jazz, Classical, blues, new age and everything in-between. I only have $1,000.00 to shell out on one set. Which one do you guys recommend!!??I have untill the weekend to decide, any suggestions?
