A week or so ago Don M posted that DDS had been sold.Last week I spoke with the original owner, Tracy Sherwood, and then a few minutes ago I spoke with the new owner, Chris Cole of Sound Bridge.
The DDS factory is being moved to Waxahatchie, Texas. It will take some time before production resumes, and outstanding orders under contract will probably come first. But then deliveries to DDS dealers Assistance Audio and U.S. Speakers should resume within the next couple of months. So the day will come when we'll be able to order DDS horns & waveguides again. Both of my current speaker designs use DDS products so that's very good news for me.
