Altec 416-8C cabinet?

I will be receiving two new 416-8C woofers from GPA soon. I have a A7 cabinet, 511B horns, 902-8T drivers, and N1285-8A crossovers. Bill at GPA stated that the A7 cabinet lacks in lower bass. He recommend I build a better box for the 416-8C. Bill said their cabinet for their 604 driver at 9ft^3 may work. The Altec 19's are of a 9ft^3 box also. Why 9ft^3? When I run the 416-8C parameters through winLSD. It comes up with a 5.374ft^3 with a round port of 4.04" X 1.43" depth at a tuning frequency of 37.77Hz. I looked around on different Internet sites for the best home audio box for the 416-8C, but can't narrow it down. Any advice? Thank you.
