Ultrakaz:Thank you. That information is very helpful, particularly about the Hartleys. I don't think the Hotei was a very good implementation. I believe an infinate baffle, not a box, is preferred.
Your confirmed my suspicions re the Visaton and the Hemps, excellent drivers for the $$$, but not something special. I already have a pair of TL based speakers using the Jordan JX92s. I would like to build speakers at the next level.
The Feastrix is a possibility, but it is expensive. I live not to far from the US distributor. I may go have a listen.
I will also consider the Fertins, PHYs and Supravox.
