that dildo tweeter with a B&C compression tweeter makes a lot of stuff sound like trash - its particuarlly good with cymbals, & strings including harpsichord. The regular bass couplers can introduce or emphasise a type of "reverb" and this can be attractive on some recordings - espeically acoutic guitar, ukelele, harpsichord.couplers probably can be built somewhat different in aspect and tonal center then what Mr. Karlson did. sometimes they might benefit from using a front shelf even if its only an inch or two in depth to introduce some reflections in attempt to balance overtones.
a K15 size coupler can have strong dynamics to about 55Hz using that spot from outdoors measurement. drums can have impact which would thwart bass-reflex and some basshorn including k-horn. perhaps midsized coupler with subwoofer could be one way to do things.
Best to you & little 'zillas
