What is the filter digitally implemented?
if it is a mere digital implementation
of an electronic ones i do not see the
advantage of doing it digitally.
(Since you get a phase shift anyhow)
Also i am suspicious about these digital units.I have DEQX that is much more expensive
but implements FIR filters.
I am half happy with the sonics - I mean
plugging a good dac directly on the fullrange
makes me realise that the DEQX is not so transparent.
(In my view it tends to "kill the life" in music)Otherwise to make some big sound no pb...
That would suit Ben Hur or any kind of
home theater sound. Voices, piaono, violins
are another business.
