I do remember reading that DDS designed a special horn for a TAD compression driver.

Even with the longer-throat, the ENG1-90 sounded smoother with the 806a than the 811b. The disadvantage however is the crossover of 1700 hz with the DDS compared to the Altec at 1200 hz (my current preference).

It's too bad that I don't have a B&C to try on the 811b to do a compare.
