I presume you're looking at 15" woofers. In my experience, deep bass extension is fairly rare in 15" prosound woofers. Most prosound applications include dedicated subwoofer cabinets.The Altec 416-8A would work great.
Among woofers still in production, look at Usher, TAD and Supravox ("affordable", "unaffordable", and "you've got to be kidding me!").
Most of the extra cost of the TAD and Supravox goes towards better midrange performance. I'm not sure that's necessary at your 300 Hz crossover point.
