one of your best bets might be to look at graph overlays of different tunings using a simulator such as freeware WinISD for whatever driver of interest and look for peaking, dip, etc.nn the real world, parameters can vary from published specifications, theres vent leakage where wavelengths are small enough to slip through giving an extra sptial source to potentially muck with imaging and there can be response interaction with certain large vents.
vent size and postition may influence timbre.
an adjustable length vent might be fun and tune the box to taste.
there should be some online vent calculators
