Edmond May was a remarkable speaker designer. I have spoken with several people who knew him and they all speak highly of both his abilities and his character. He was a "hands on" engineer; one fellow mentioned that he could develop an idea and build a working prototype all in a few minutes time.After his involvement with Jack Frazier ended, Mr. May accomplished tremendous things at JBL. The profile at the link below, written by Lansing Heritage co-founder Don McRitchie, briefly dicusses the Frazier-May partnership and highlights Edmond May's entire career.
