I've posted this photo before. But wouldn't call myself a speaker designer.
I used this for standard tuning bass guitar on its own, standing on its end. Had a K140 in it. I had 2 of these for a short time, now I know 4 would have been better to smooth and extend the the bottom end. Bass guitar can be a very dynamic instrument, it's just a matter of finding a "portable" speaker that can keep up.
I can't read music well so I play guitar and bass by ear. I have found when listening to music that open or wide baffle speakers "articulate" bass lines well, but nothing compares to a bass horn for rattlin' your intestines.Regards Philip
