for playing backdrum cds - imo K15 with tube on top and typical 55g woofer with some motor although "not uncolored" is 200X better/faster and far less colored in compression aspect and stuck on one note than my 1-15" reflex w. B&C heavy cone - more output - less cone movement and a real impression of shockwave. The 1 inch-k-tube by Transylvania is also a good pick and better than DDS PRO-90 for mating to K.K15 can do some things well.
