Hello zsolt. I heard the original MD3s (which were optimised for front horn duty) tried in Hornet Hedlunds and we were all amazed how well they performed, having expected a rather thin, bass-light sound. The MD3-Bs should work very well if they have been optimised for back-horn duty (which the B designation suggests). This involves a slight sacrifice of speed for a fuller upper-bass.
Of course, you should not expect deep bass from Hedlunds but tonality will be excellent (though I think the MD2-B would be optimum) with a pleasing HF extension. A smooth sound.
It is important however to ensure the cabinets are constructed EXACTLY to Janne Hedlund's original design with one exception, do not rebate the driver aperture or the MD3 will not fit!Brian.
