Hi ,
Put a series trap on the driver (8 ohms / 50uF / 1.2mH) and there was hardly a noticeable difference . Found some posts in the archives by Magnetar where he suggests there is a peak at around 2.5kHz . Tried 12uF ICW poly / 0.1uF teflon + 10 ohms + 0.3mH (approx) paralleled in series with the driver and it seems to be making a positive difference on the peakiness . Still needs a little tweaking though , I'm not 100% sure that the inductor is the correct value , my bridge is coughing out dodgy readings at present so I've ordered a pair of inductors at the correct value . An impedence plot is the next step , I'm beginning to think there must be a second peak after resonance . Bloody passive crossovers !!!!!!!!! What a paincheers
