HiHave you measured them? Do you know whereabouts exactly it's peaking?
I have 2441s on tractrix horns (crossed in at 700Hz) that peak between 4.5k and 5.5k with a sharp peak at 5kHz. This peak makes them unlistenable. I was thinking of rolling them off early, but now I might try a notch filter. I wanted to avoid farting around with too many filters as I have a minimalist approach (I use line level 12db LC crossovers) in my system.
