Hello,What is the cut-off frequency of you crossover and its slope?
remember that the TD4001 possess a beryllium suspension (in fact a single piece with the diaphragm). It is not recommanded to cut it at a frequency lower than 500Hz - 600Hz.
Many here in France are using TD4001 on Marco Henry's 322horn (this 320Hz horn use a profile calculated by my method like the Azura). There is no shouting! The crossover is generally set above 640Hz. Reactance is negligeible over 800Hz.
