1st report on dbx digital speaker-management system with my OB DIY system.

Wow...I'm thrilled. Took a while to balance all the variables...crossover points, x-over slopes, amp levels, parametric eq., graphic eq., etc., and probably I'll be creating a new program every week for a while, but I'm plenty happy now.

The hardness in the treble is GONE, just as Sonic Craft's Jeff Glowacki said it would be when I got that MR lo-pass filter slope steep enough--I'm now using 4th-order L-R fiters at 2800Hz for both MR and treble.

The bass has never sounded more even in my room, thx to a -12dB and a +12dB parametric eq.s at around 40 and 90Hz.

So far I hear nothing negative due to the filter, but I'm sure it's adding a little grunge.
