Hello arkk,Funny you should mention the TAD TL-1102 and "some kind of horn".
I build a speaker that meets that description. You can see it by clicking on my name, then on my picture gallery (see the one entitled "Jazz Module closeup").
I'll shoot you an e-mail, as some of the design trade-offs I encountered might be applicable to your situation. Specifically, uniform dispersion was one of the characteristics I gave very high priority to.
