Dear friends,
I don't have the luxury to audition equipment.. right now i listen to Saba green cones on an open baffle. Eastsound E-5 cdp and Red wine sig 30 amp..
I need to updgrade my speakers with my next tax return and soon..
These are the 3 options i am debating and will chose one of the 3.1. Lowther PM2A's in Medallion 2 Cabinets.
2. Supravox 215-2000 exes field coils in either open baffles (like i have) or in the folded tqwp design posted on their website.
3. 2 way TAD TL-1102 with TAD 2001 or 2002 and some kind of horn (in the meantime id pair the tl-1102 with my altec 811 horns..then save for the 2001s..
Room will likely always be small.. 12x16.Listen to classical, electronica, organ music, organ jazz..
What would be the key strengths of each 1,2,3..
weaknesses? What about the dispersion characteristics for each.. I have to admit.. i don't sit on one place all of the time.. sortof leary of the supravoxes for what I think may be a very limited sweetspot..
Thanks!
