Re: Basshorn impedance

Greets!

True, measurements of a typical bass-horn show them for what they are, basically big tapered vent reflexes to keep their size as compact as practical. A reactance annulled bass-horn though is an all-together different 'animal' with a nominally flat acoustic and electrical impedance in its passband. Unfortunately, it's also too big for most apps, with an Fc <10 Hz for a BLH using a typical midbass horn driver.
