will do 2k but I think you will like the XT1086 better. At least I do. I use the ND1090 compression driver and cross around 1K8. If it was me I'd rather have the mid go down lower, like 100 hertz, than have it run up to 3K. The XT1086 at home could go down quite low with a steep order slope but I like it near the 2K point.I am glad to see some discussion on the 18sound drivers. I have a distributor locally who will sell at wholesale to me and it makes the line attractive so I'd like to hear what others are doing. The drivers look like they are made with horn loading in mind. I have seen the line on display and some of the big woofers are impressive looking monsters:) But I want to try open baffle bass and they don't look well suited to that:(
