Guys,While you may have arrived at "2" with empirical testing, I do know the German manual suggests that frequency as well.
We've found that the actual roll-off is a bit higher than the indicated setting, thus the 12-12:30 setting often works best. Of course, you'll have to add a bit (less than a click) of bass to compensate. While you may have the best setting in your installation, if you've not tried crossing over a bit lower, feel free to do so.
As always, I adjust the frequency and bass setting with vocals, never with bass instruments...
