New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

Ok. . .

. . .then why do you think there is such a push in the industry to market remastered CD versions of all the most popular artists with big bright stickers plastered to the product saying *NEW REMASTERED VERSION*? Why do you think audiophile and non-audiophile Stones fans alike have been clamoring for a remastered ABKCO catalog since the mid '90s? Do you really think these will have such limited appeal?

Wake up. Remastered CDs of classic rock titles are a big business. Getting SACD for free will be a thrill for many Stones fans. All things being equal, people prefer the versions that sound best. That's not to say everyone will dump their late-'80s versions of the ABKCO titles and buy the SACDs, but enough people to make those in the industry raise their eyebrows and lick their chops.

And not every stones fan will dump their CD player and pick up an SACD player, but many will. This is big. Let's not downplay it.
