Yes, I like stereo, although the newer formats seems to be pushing towards 5.1 for the better quality mixes.The problem I have with no digital outputs should be the same as other people. I want to be able to choose my own DAC, and not be tied to the one in the transports of the day. Transports break, and I would like to be able to choose a DVD player for it's video, and choose a separate processor or DAC for my audio. I don't think that's too much to ask as a consumer.
