New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

I couldn't have generated more replies if I'd written a deliberate troll

Thanks for the replies, guys (and Teresa) -- I thought the DAD versus other high-res angle hasn't been talked-to-death quite like the DVD-A vs. SACD has. There aren't tons of DADs out there, but I think that they are a far friendlier format, as we can get a digital output. I'm not sure I want to patronize either of the other formats until they can get their act together and come up with a digital standard, even if it's on IEEE 1394. But, if SACD starts to win out, I might take the plunge. It's going to be darn expensive to get a decent 5.1 or 7.1 preamp to replace my Denon 5800 though (which doesn't cut it on analog in -- highs turn to mush. The Denon does great on 5.1/6.1 movies with digital in, but that's about it.).
