HowdyI have no idea how the SD-9200 sounds, unfortunatly. I also would not hazard a guess about how it sounds compared to the S9000ES. But my only point was that I'd never consider the Sony S9000ES harsh, and I mentioned the two speakers with extended upper range that I've listened to it on just to give the idea that it wasn't my speakers or system rolling off the high end.
Anyway if you're ever in the Pacific NW look me up :)
